An open, exploratory space for people interested in methods, tools, and approaches related to futures and foresight.
The Facilitating Futures & Foresight SIG brings together facilitators, foresight practitioners, and others curious about how futures methods can be used in practice. We meet monthly-ish to explore specific tools or approaches, hear from guest practitioners, and exchange experiences from different contexts.
Sessions are oriented around trying things out and learning together, not mastery or certification. The focus is on methods, experimentation, and practical application, rather than reflective practice or peer supervision.
Whether you’re working independently or inside an organisation, whether futures and foresight are central to your work or something you’re beginning to weave into your facilitation practice, you’re welcome to join.
(This SIG complements the Facilitating Futures Community of Practice, which is a curated space for reflective practice among people actively facilitating futures work.)
