In this session, we’ll explore how facilitators can use existing technology signals and megatrend analyses to help groups co-create plausible future scenarios through a gamified, participatory format. You’ll experience a gamified format to surface assumptions about the future, with a focus on disruptive technologies, and broaden perspectives on potential future impacts. We’ll reflect together on what this kind of format makes possible in facilitation: where it works well, what it reveals, and what to be mindful of when using games to provoke futures thinking. Useful for: This session will be useful for facilitators who want to experiment with interactive, low-threshold ways of introducing scenario thinking into group work. Important: we often use breakout rooms, whiteboards, and plenary discussions. Please be prepared to turn on your camera, use your mic, and participate. |
